Dando

Where AI may run

Local onlyEvery assisted feature runs on the inference service at the address below, and nowhere else. Unless an owner changes that address, it is the service Dando provides. If you enter your own, each question and the figures sent with it go to that address instead, and are handled by whoever runs it. No outside AI provider is used. This is the default.BalancedEach feature runs where its own declaration allows. Dando has no outside AI provider set up, so a feature that would use one is refused rather than sent anywhere. Features that handle ledger entries, parties, bank data or filings always run on the inference service below, exactly as under Local only.OffNo assisted feature runs. A question is refused before anything is read from your books or sent anywhere. The Ask button stays visible and says AI is switched off.

Assisted features in these areas are refused, as with Off, without switching AI off everywhere. Asking about your books belongs to analytics.
